By the time Jason came to the Healing Place, he had damaged most of his close personal relationships. Now, a year later, having worked hard on recovery, he has earned a role as a peer mentor in the program and earned the opportunity to reconnect with his family. “Today, I get to help people,” he said about his role. “Everybody’s story is different, but if they can get anything from my story, it’s that it can be done.”
