New Construction and Rehab Inspections
The Design and Construction Review (DCR) department at Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) reviews proposed plans for compliance with the applicable KHC Minimum Design Standards. The DCR team also performs inspections of projects to ensure that each project meets the requirements of the KHC contract, including meeting the Minimum Design Standards per project type. This page is most useful for architects, designers, engineers, developers, and builders.
When building safe, quality, affordable homes and units, financing and construction go hand-in-hand. DCR has authority to oversee the construction of housing produced with KHC financial assistance. To help guide builders, architects, nonprofit organizations and other involved in the construction process, DCR offers construction information as well as forms and checklists.
