FRANKFORT, Kentucky — Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) welcomes Annissa M. Franklin as the newest member of its Board of Directors.

Franklin will represent homelessness services on the 15-member board, which includes 10 private members appointed by the governor to represent various interests in affordable housing and five public members who serve by virtue of their positions as state government officials.

“I am passionate about providing life-changing opportunities for low-income families. It’s an honor to serve on the KHC Board of Directors and contribute to expanding access to safe, affordable housing for Kentuckians,” said Franklin.

Franklin serves as interim president and CEO of the Urban League of Lexington-Fayette County, where she has worked since 2001.

“Annissa brings years of experience serving families and communities, along with a strong understanding of the challenges facing Kentuckians experiencing housing instability,” said Winston Miller, Executive Director and CEO of Kentucky Housing Corporation. “We are pleased to welcome her to the board and look forward to the perspective she will bring to our work.”

As Kentucky’s housing finance agency, KHC’s mission is to invest in quality housing solutions for families and communities across Kentucky.
