We understand the difficulty in finding a unit to use with the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.
Kentucky Housing Corporation's (KHC) Tenant Assistance Programs (TAP) has compiled various websites and applications from KHC and our partners to help in your search and answer questions about the HCV program.
If you are currently seeking rental assistance, the following resources are available to you:
Kentucky Rents
KHC's TAP and Housing Contract Administration teams have partnered with an innovative web-based property search engine, Padmission, to help Kentuckians find rental units.
This partnership brings the revival of our Kentucky Rents platform for landlords who participate in KHC's rental programs to connect with renters, now powered by the amazing Padmission platform. Landlords can list their properties, and what programs they work with, for renters participating in those programs to connect to.
Kentucky Resource Guide
KHC's Resource Guide is an interactive list that will enable you to locate units in a particular county as well as a list of supportive services. The list is searchable and filterable.
Additional services from KHC's partners are also available on our Resources page.
HUD Tenants Site
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides current and potential HCV participants with an overview of the program and answers frequently asked questions. For a deeper understanding of the program policies, you may read the HCV Guidebook and more on HUD's website.
