The 2026/2027 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Competitive Application Round closed May 15, 2026. Below you will find additional information about the application process.
Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) accepted funding applications from April 8 - May 15, 2026. All applications were due in the UFA portal by that deadline and the application round is now closed.
This competitive application round was for ESG Program Years 2026 and 2027 only. The next competitive application round is anticipated to be held in the spring of 2028.

ESG Application Webinar
KHC hosted a non-mandatory webinar for interested applicants on April 14, 2026. A recording of the webinar and presentation slides can be accessed below.
Universal Funding Application (UFA)
All ESG applications must be submitted through KHC's Universal Funding Application (UFA) online platform. Visit the https://wapps.kyhousing.org/UFA/Help/FAQ section of the UFA webpage for information on how to create an account, start an application, etc.
