Independent Municipal Advisor Exemption Language
By publicly posting the following written disclosure, Kentucky Housing Corporation intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC Municipal Advisor Rule. The Corporation is represented by and will rely on its independent registered municipal advisor, Caine Mitter & Associates Incorporated, to provide advice on materials from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities and municipal financial products, or the utilization of funds therefrom. This certificate may be relied upon until June 30, 2025. The Corporation prefers to receive materials in electronic format, which should be sent to: tmthurston@kyhousing.org; however, hard copy materials can be received at the following address: Kentucky Housing Corporation, 1231 Louisville Road, Frankfort, KY 40604.
If the materials received will be seriously considered by the Corporation, the Corporation will share the documents with its municipal advisor. Please note, that aside from regulatory mandated correspondence between a market participant and municipal advisor, the participant should not speak directly with or send documents directly to the municipal advisor unless specifically directed to by the Corporation.
