Asbestos Awareness and Safe Practice Training RFP

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) seeks to contract with an independent contractor or firm to provide asbestos awareness and safe practice train the trainer, training and development of core curriculum with electronic presentation for the DOE Weatherization Assistance Program as detailed in the Scope of Services section of the RFP. The intent is to train KHC staff to have the ability to deliver a one day asbestos awareness and safe practice training.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced $25 billion settlement for foreclosure relief

On Thursday, February 9, 2012, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced a settlement with the five largest mortgage servicers, Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi, and Ally/GMAC, resulting in a $25 billion settlement. Of that, 49 states will receive part of the settlement with Kentucky receiving $58.5 million.
