Edwin King

As executive director and CEO of Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC), Edwin King is responsible for leading the Corporation’s strategies to develop and implement housing-related programs and services. Edwin spent a year and a half serving as vice chairman of KHC's Board of Directors in the role as proxy for Secretary William Landrum III. In July 2017, he was appointed executive director/chief executive officer. Before joining KHC, Edwin served as chief of staff of the Finance and Administration Cabinet; bringing experience in corporate finance, business, and housing policy to help finance affordable housing for Kentuckians. He received his graduate degree in finance from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree in business from the Murray State University. He currently serves on the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) Board of Directors and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Community Advisory Council.
