A limited number of scholarships will be available for the
2019 Kentucky Affordable Housing Conference
in Lexington, Kentucky, to be held Thursday and Friday, September 12 and 13, 2019. Scholarships are for the amount of the full conference registration fee. Any other fees and all travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the conference participant. Scholarships are on a first come, first served basis.
The conference scholarships enable affordable housing professionals, interns, or interested students who lack company financial support to have an opportunity to attend the conference.
Scholarship sponsors will be recognized in the conference program and from the stage during the conference. The deadline for applications is Friday, August 16, 2019
. Scholarships are valued at approximately $400 and include:
- • Complimentary full-conference registration
- • Current Kentucky resident (professional or student) working in affordable housing.
- • No organizational support or reimbursement to attend the conference.
- • Have never attended KAHC.
How to Apply
Complete the online application form to include:
- • Contact and demographic information.
- • A statement of support from a supervisor or colleague*.
*Statement may be completed by a co-worker, current or former supervisor, professor, volunteer colleague or other professional contacts. Statements from family members will not be accepted.

Selection Criteria Scholarships will be rewarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Expectations of Scholarship RecipientsIf selected for an award, applicants must confirm their ability to attend the event. They must be willing to sign a release form so they can be featured in conference promotions, including--but not limited to--live appearances on stage, press, and video interviews.
Those applying for scholarships should not complete the normal conference registration at this time. All applicants will be notified of who has or has not been awarded a scholarship and given instructions on how to register for the conference accordingly.
